Halloween

Halloween was a great time in third grade.  In the morning we visited each of the other third grade classrooms and did different activities.  We made some great jack-o-lantern windsocks, read spooktacular style with flashlights in the VERY dark classroom, and had a great time participating in the annual Wyoming Elementary Halloween parade.  It is always fun to see the staff get in the spirit as well as the kiddos.  Both of my boys have attended the parades over the years up until they have started school where we live in Roseville.  This year's parade was a bit bittersweet for me as it was the last one where one of my boys with be with me.  Aiden starts kindergarten in the fall. His first parade was when he was 2 months old dressed up as Elvis.   The school where my son Alex attends does not celebrate any holidays at school, like much of the other school districts surrounding ours.  I am so glad to be part of such a fun school and community like Wyoming!
