The class will be continue to learn about New York, as well as focus on learning about The Statue of Liberty. They will be doing research, watching live feed of The Statue of Liberty, and be presenting all of their new knowledge to me when I return from my surgery.
We have also had a lot of birthday celebrations in the past week. We will be celebrating all of our summer birthday's with a pizza party the last week of school. Details will come home in Friday's newsletter. Students can bring in a treat to share as well! I will be buying the pizza, since I have a summer birthday!
Our anoles went to their new homes, and we are finishing up our science unit for the year.
