Our classroom critters joined us! (TEMPORARILY) The kids had a lot of fun determining if their anole was male or female by looking for the stripe down their backs, watched them munch on crickets, and were able to track the lizards mood and temperature by its color.

We studied the food chain, as well as the different habitats and needs of lizards. Luckily, none escaped! Our next science unit in third grade is on sound. It should be a fun one.
