Salty Experiments in Science

We had a fun few weeks filled with science experiments.  

We spent time exploring the properties of salt. 

We then made a mixture of salt and water. We placed three strings on a popsicle stick, and made predictions of what we thought would happen.

The salt grew on the tops of the strings and stick after being absorbed through the water. 

We have also explored solids & mixtures by making Kool Aid, watched a solid and liquid turn into a gas by using Alka Seltzer & explored sugar cubes.  Science is always so much fun!
